The Role
As a Servery Assistant, you will be at the heart of our school’s daily operations, ensuring our pupils and staff receive high-quality service with a smile. You will work a shift pattern from Monday to Friday during term time with overtime being available if required. This is a fixed term maternity cover role.
Key Responsibilities include:
Meal Service: Serving breakfast and lunch meals, while maintaining portion control.
Hospitality: Setting up and replenishing the Common Room, meeting rooms, and our unique Catering Coffee Horsebox when required.
Standards & Hygiene: Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment in the dining hall and servery.
Events: Assisting with the setup and service of special school functions.
Teamwork: Supporting the Head Chef and Catering Manager with daily tasks and temperature controls.
