We have a fantastic opportunity to appoint an experienced Service Delivery Manager (SDM) to join our IT Services Team at Leigh Academies Trust.  You'll be part of a small but highly effective team of two SDMs, and the post holder of this particular role will lead on analytics and reporting associated with SDM duties, whereas the second SDM will lead on rotas and scheduling.  The overarching responsibility of the role includes;


  • You'll coordinate the delivery of services from the associated technical and service teams, ensuring a cohesive, high quality service is delivered to all the academies within the Trust.
  • You'll have a highly effective approach to the delivery of day-to-day service. The role requires general appropriate technical diagnosis, planning skills and management experience. 
  • You'll ensure that the SLAs are met or exceeded and that the required service reports are produced and are analysed and then presented to the client - this includes (but not confined to) Service Performance Reports and Capacity Management Reports. 
  • You'll also oversee the software / hardware request processes.
  • You'll have knowledge of the up and coming renewal projects and service scope; ensuring out-of-scope is handed over to BAU Support. 
  • Most importantly, a ‘can do’ attitude is essential!

​​​​​​​This is a full time, permanent opportunity offering a starting salary of £39,223 which will increase by 3% to £40,400 per annum (from 1st September 2022) + 25 days annual leave + bank holidays. The successful candidate will join us as soon as possible. ​​​​​​​

Leigh Academies Trust is one of the country’s largest and most-established multi-academy trusts operating across Kent, Medway and South East London. It contains primary, secondary and special academies and is highly inclusive and successful. We are a non-profit making charitable company, based in Strood, Medway. The Trust exists to support and assist schools to build upon their existing strengths and to help them achieve rapid educational transformation. The Trust was formed in 2008 with the linking of the Leigh Technology Academy and Longfield Academy under one governing body.
