We are looking for exceptional individuals with strong organisational and interpersonal skills to join our busy Exams team. You will need to be flexible as you will be asked to invigilate as and when required by the team and therefore hours will be offered on a sessional, hourly paid basis and cannot be guaranteed.
Role Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the efficient administration, invigilation, reading and scribing of external examinations
- Ensure exams are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements
- You will be responsible for ensuring the security of examination paperwork and preventing possible candidate malpractice
- Attending training when required in order to keep up to date with new procedures and regulations
Essential Qualifications:
- Level 2 Maths
- Level 2 English
Successful applicants will be flexible, have a good understanding of the importance of teamwork and good customer service and will demonstrate the ability to pay attention to detail.

Derby College is a large general further education college with four sites in or near the city of Derby. It supports around 26,000 learners, who choose from more than 1,000 full-time and part-time apprenticeship, A-level, BTEC and NVQ courses.
Derby College was established as a single institution in 2002 by merging three further education colleges: Mackworth Tertiary College, Wilmorton Tertiary College and Broomfield Agricultural College. A merger between South East Derbyshire College and Derby College was approved in 2010. Heavy investment has been made by the college in its teaching and learning facilities, from the fully equipped teaching kitchens at the Roundhouse campus to the high-tech science labs at the Joseph Wright Centre and the Equestrian Centre at the Broomfield Hall campus.
