Windsor Forest College Group is looking for Sessional Lecturer in GCSE English to join the Strode’s team. Please note this role offers around 5 hours teaching per week.

Purpose

To deliver high quality teaching and academic support to adults that enables learners to reach their potential in GCSE English

Key responsibilities

  • Effective delivery of a teaching program to adults, ensuring that the assessment criteria within the qualification guide is being met and paying due regard to developing independent learners, and enabling learner progression towards successful completion.
  • Develop ways of working that are responsive to learners’ needs and monitor and evaluate progress and practice to prepare learners for examinations.
  • To promote and facilitate high levels of learner attendance, retention and achievement.
  • Provide accurate and timely data and information, including registers, withdrawals and transfers, assessments, examination details and progress reports.
