South Thames College is looking for a Visiting Lecturer in AAT Finance to design and deliver outstanding teaching to ensure that students are gaining a positive learning experience and are on track to succeed. 


You will play a key role in supporting the development of the curriculum, with employer engagement, and learner skill development central. Planning and preparing assignments and projects and delivering tutorials and assessments for students within the School, you will select appropriate assessment instruments and criteria, assess the work and progress of students and provide constructive feedback.


With energy, enthusiasm and passion for the subject and education, you will have a successful track record tutoring and supporting adult learners in finance Accounting, AAT or Finance related courses. 


Qualified to Degree level in Business or Finance and AAT qualified, you will have PGCE or equivalent and a working knowledge of current AAT & Apprenticeship standards for teaching, learning, assessment, and quality assurance (IV).


We’d like you to be hardworking and flexible, have high personal standards and expectations and be receptive to new ideas and initiatives with a creative approach to problem solving. You’ll also have good planning, preparation, organisational and administrative skills and an awareness of academic quality standards.
