Job overview

We require a highly motivated Sessional Lecturer in Pottery to join the teaching team in our expanding adult education provision in the daytime, evenings and Saturdays at Merton College.


We are looking for someone with appropriate creative knowledge and craftsmanship to teach primarily hand building skills as well as some throwing. You should also be able to deliver a range of decorative techniques. An understanding of pottery health and safety is essential. You will have some teaching experience or a teaching qualification, or a willingness to obtain one within an agreed time. You will also have a pottery/crafts background with excellent levels of organisation, communication skills and delivery expertise in adult education to ensure a stimulating quality-led student experience.


You would need to deliver the following courses:


• Pottery (All Levels) on Monday and Wednesday evening to Start Sept 2021
