This is a great opportunity for a dynamic, professional individual qualified in an appropriate discipline to join a forward thinking college to develop and teach on both the Musical Theatre and Acting pathways, across a range of courses and across all disciplines.

The role will be to carry out planning, development, delivery and assessment of performing arts skills and techniques to enable learners to achieve.

It is essential you are qualified to minimum of degree level in the appropriate subject and either possess or be willing to work towards a teaching qualification. Candidates should ideally have experience of successfully delivering performing arts tuition within a university, college or school environment.

It is essential that you have the ability to build positive relationships, displaying excellent communication, organisational skills and administrative skills demonstrating a flexible and professional attitude.

You will be a highly self-motivated, energetic and driven individual, encompassing a strong sense of autonomy. You will possess strong presentation and communication skills and be able to demonstrate achievement of targets.

The role will require you to take on and work to the college’s values; working with Professionalism, taking Responsibility for your actions, and giving Respect to clients and colleagues alike.

Vision West Nottinghamshire College is a mixed, non-denominational further education college in Nottinghamshire serving students from the age of 16 and above. The college has approximately 1,200  full and part-time students attending every year. The college has six sites based in Ashfield and Mansfield. 

Vision West Nottinghamshire College was established as a Technical College in 1928. It was renamed Vision West Nottinghamshire College in 2011. Facilities across the campuses include an engineering innovation centre, art and design centre, sports hall, a hair and beauty training salon and a training restaurant for catering and hospitality students to train in.
