Job overview

We are looking to appoint an outstanding S.I.M.S. integration Manager to support our growing network of schools in the UK. This is a unique client-facing opportunity to specialise in the migration of data from our propietary Edval timetabling software to schools' M.I.S.s, which is predominantly Capita SIMS. Joining our Admin team in Bristol, you will play a key role working alongside our timetabling consultants and client schools to ensure smooth and seamless integration to positively impact stakeholder outcomes for Principals, SLT, teachers, parents and pupils.

Job outline

The role involves supporting integration between Edval timetabling software to client school's M.I.S. The post holder will have the opportunity for full training on our timetabling software and have technical backup and support from our development team in Sydney.

Salary:  £35,000 to £50,000 according to experience.

Location:  Based in our Bristol office, the role will also involve travelling to schools throughout the UK, and therefore a willingness to travel and having your own transport is essential.

Job description:  We’re looking for an all-rounder who is a confident C# developer who is also good at talking to people.  Our need is to integrate our timetabling software with the various MIS systems in use in UK schools, chief among them being “SIMS Capita”.  This integration work involves a lot of meetings with MIS software companies, both management and developers; and a lot of meetings with school users, either remotely or on site visits;  in addition to the software development.

Strong soft skills including communication, teamwork, adaptability, problem-solving, critical observation, conflict resolution and leadership.

Qualifications

Minimum undergraduate degree in I.T. related field. 

Ideally, Master's degree and/or professional C#competence certification.

Experience

Minimum two years' C# developer experience and/or training.

Ideally, two years' Capita S.I.M.S. management  experience.
