Site & Facilities Manager - PO1 33-36 (£31,170 - £33,443) 36 hours a week full time

We are looking to appoint a flexible, enthusiastic, energetic and motivated Site & Facilities Manager to work alongside our existing Site Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and security of the school site. 

As part of LIFE Education Trust they will also lead on premises related procedures and standards for other schools within the Trust.

The post would suit someone who has an eye for detail, high standards, PC literate, has high expectations of her/himself and has the ability to work as a member of a team and get on well with people. 

The successful candidate will need to possess the ability to take direction and abide by school and Health & Safety procedures and have proven inter-personal skills and a sense of humour. 

The Frances Bardsley Academy is a thriving, oversubscribed and highly successful, comprehensive school for girls aged 11 – 18, with a specialism in the Visual Arts. It is situated in beautiful grounds in the market town of Romford and was judged Good by Ofsted in January 2016. We are part of the LIFE Education Trust

The Frances Bardsley Academy for Girls is a non-denominational academy secondary school and sixth form for girls aged between 11 and 18. It is located in Romford in the borough of Havering, London. The number of pupils is approximately 1,300.

The school was established in 1906 by Frances Bardsley with the aim of providing free education to the local girls. Formerly across two different sites until 2003, it became The Frances Bardsley School for Girls in 1972 and converted to academy status in 2012.
