Site Caretaker

St Nicholas’ School is seeking to appoint responsible, enthusiastic and hard-working Caretakers to join our dedicated team, to help ensure that our school and learning environment is the best it can be. Ideally, you will possess a Section D1 on your driving licence as there will be a requirement to drive a school minibus. 

St Nicholas’ School was founded in 1935 and has gone from strength to strength over the years. The school is set in beautiful surroundings covering 27 acres and has superb facilities.

There are two shift options:

Mornings - Starting salary: £10,000 + generous pension

20 hours per week, 6.30am to 10.15am, term time only (first week and last week of the holidays to be worked) plus weekend security checks (to be shared with the evening caretaker and the maintenance department). 

Afternoon/Evenings - Starting salary: £20,000 + generous pension + generous holiday entitlement 

30 hours per week, 2.00pm to 8.00pm, 52 weeks per year with additional hours to be worked as required by school events, plus weekend security checks to be shared with the morning caretaker. 6 weeks holiday (to be taken during the school holidays).
