Christ the King Academy has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and knowledgeable Site Manager to join our team from November 2021. The successful candidate will have previous premises management experience and will take responsibility for the care and maintenance of the premises. You will be a key player in ensuring the high standards of compliance are maintained and that facilities are safe and the best that they can be. You will manage one Site Technician and will work closely with the Trust Director of Estates and Facilities and the Trust Maintenance Manager focusing on delivering a high quality and safe learning and teaching environment. A knowledge of Health and Safety is essential to this role as well as being able to communicate effectively.

• A 37 hour working week Mon-Fri on a mornings / afternoon shift pattern with occasional out of hours work where required.

Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge and Abilities

• Experience in an equivalent facilities management role.

• Experience of working in an educational setting is a distinct advantage, as is the ability to carry out PAT testing, building repairs and small development projects.

• Good IT skills.

• Ability to work on your own initiative and to prioritise tasks.

• Ability to delegate and hold others to account.
