What we are looking for:

We are looking for an exceptional candidate to help us provide a safe and progressive environment for learning. The successful candidate will provide efficient and effective support to the Academy Finance Director and Principal and be a strong leader to our Academy Site Team. The successful candidate will be organised and hold high expectations for their own performance standards and that of colleagues and contractors. Applicants must be willing to work flexibly, be able to use initiative and prioritise tasks effectively. A skilled trades background and experience of running a building management system would be an advantage.

 The person appointed will/will have:

• An excellent knowledge of Health & Safety;

• A good understanding of planned preventative maintenance schedules and buildings statutory compliance;

• Experience of managing estates, small teams and small building works;

• Experience of managing budgets, working to deadlines and liaising with external contractors;

• Good working knowledge of computer packages including word processing, excel spreadsheets, Google Drive, Microsoft Sharepoint and Building Management Systems;

• Ability to prioritise and manage own workload in a fast-paced environment;

• Ability to keep proper and accurate records in order to capture the condition, size and performance of the buildings that assist in the strategic planning of the Estate

Experience of working in an educational environment, driving licence and ability to have a hands-on/problem solving approach would be an advantage.
