Goldthorpe Primary Academy are looking to appoint a Site Supervisor to join our academy team as soon as possible on a permanent full time basis. 

The working hours will be 10:00am - 17:00pm Monday to Friday.

Goldthorpe is a village within the Metropolitan Borough of Barnsley, in South Yorkshire. Historically within the West Riding of Yorkshire, in ancient times it was a small medieval farming village and is even recorded in the Domesday Book. In later times, Goldthorpe flourished as a coal mining community. Following the closure of the pits and the inevitable increase in levels of socio economic deprivation that followed, Goldthorpe is now beginning to benefit from regeneration programmes and investment. 

Your new role  

As a Site Supervisor, you will provide general maintenance, cleaning, and security services for the Academy, ensuring all checks are appropriately logged on the Trust’s electronic reporting system.

Your new academy 

Goldthorpe Primary School lies at the heart of the local community. It was located on the previous site since 1903 which means we were there for 113 years! In the summer of 2016 we relocated to our new site and opened our doors in September 2016. There are currently 264 pupils on roll. 

Our vision is to develop the holistic potential of all our pupils so they become successful, responsible, active members of society.
