The Lion Academy Trust consists of four schools in the Wellingborough Hub, Warwick Academy, Ruskin Academy, Ruskin Infant & Nursery & Olympic Primary Academy. We are looking for a diligent and enthusiastic person to join our Site Services Team to work at Ruskin Infants & Nursery. 

The role of the Site Services Officer is to support the Operations Manager  and Head of School to ensure the internal and external areas of the premises are clean, well-maintained, secure and that janitorial tasks are carried out with the appropriate resources and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Ensure a safe and high quality environment to support the educational needs and emotional welfare of the staff and pupils of the school. Your core duties will include:

  • Site Security.

  • Energy Management 

  • Plant Operation

  • Grounds & Site Maintenance

  • Environmental Management

Candidates should be able to undertake a range of minor DIY and maintenance jobs , ensure the grounds and premises are kept clean and tidy, support internal cleaning teams, porterage, and on occasions may be required to oversee works being carried out on site by external contractors.

As a part of our Site Services Team, you will be a happy, proactive character and be flexible and adaptable with your approach to the role. You must have a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn. 

This position is a part time role, 30 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.  Annual holiday entitlement of 26 days per year, rising to 31 days per year after 5 years service. Site Supervisors during school term times are required to work a split shift in order to accommodate school opening and closing times, hours of work during term time is 7am-10am, 3pm to 6pm.  During school holidays, there is no school need for this, therefore daily hours can be completed in one shift.
