Job Overview:
To provide efficient, effective, and high-level administrative and operational support across a range of functions within Langdon Park School. The role is key to ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of sixth form admin, maintaining excellent organisational standards, and delivering a professional and responsive service.
The postholder will uphold the school’s safeguarding responsibilities at all times, ensuring strict confidentiality and promoting a culture of trust, compliance, and outstanding customer service.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Skills and Qualifications:
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Basic IT skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar software
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
- Willingness to learn new systems and processes quickly
- Friendly, approachable manner suitable for working with young people

This is a 1 year, fixed term position.
Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm Term Time plus 2 weeks
Hours: 35 hours
The successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references in line with safeguarding requirements.

Langdon Park School has served the community for well over 100 years. We enjoy a large campus comprised of both original Victorian buildings and state of the art new builds. Spotlight youth service share part of our site and we have access to a range of additional services and provisions as a result of this. The local community is tight knit, hugely supportive of the school and where the vast majority of our students live. Significant plans to redevelop the local area are in place; this is an exciting time to join the LPS community
Langdon Park School is easily accessible from all parts of London and the south east. We have a DLR station outside the main reception: we are 20 mins away from central London. We have staff parking for those that require it.
