The Role

As a Sixth Form Administrator, you will ensure the smooth running of all administrative and operational aspects of the Sixth Form.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing administrative support to Sixth Form staff.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for students, parents, and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinating student admissions, enrolment, and induction processes.
  • Managing attendance records and student data systems.
  • Organising Sixth Form events, trips, and careers-related activities.
  • Assisting with exam arrangements and university applications, including UCAS and international admissions.
  • Maintaining accurate records and producing reports as required.

About You

We seek a highly organised and efficient individual passionate about education and student support.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally in an educational setting.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and student data management systems.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a busy school environment.
  • A proactive and positive approach to problem-solving.

Desirable:

  • Experience working in a secondary school setting.
  • Knowledge of UCAS, international university applications, and student pastoral care processes.

The working pattern for this position is 37.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri), Term Time + 1 week inset.
