The Samworth Church Academy are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated member of staff to support and inspire our fantastic year 12 and 13 cohorts.

The successful applicant will be expected to look after the wellbeing and progress of students within the sixth form. They will work closely with the other members of the sixth form team (head of sixth form and sixth form recovery leads (one for each of year 12 and 13 – these members of staff focus on maximising academic progress) and senior leaders to ensure students are provided with excellent support and enable us to achieve our vision of ensuring young people go on to ensure 70 or more fantastic years after they leave us.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible person who acts with professional urgency to ensure that student provision is the very best it can be whilst ensuring all records and logs are always accurate and up to date. The successful applicant will be a people person, who is able to develop quick relationships with parents/carers and our students. They will be solution focussed and having an unwavering determination for continuous improvement.

The Samworth Church Academy opened in September 2008 and enjoys 21st century facilities, highly motivated and professionally developed staffing.

This is an excellent and rare opportunity for a fantastic candidate who currently works in the area of sixth form pastoral and wellbeing support who would like to further their career and develop their leadership skills in a new setting.

Applicants should be educated to GCSE English and Maths to Grade C (Grade 4) or above.
