We wish to appoint a Pastoral Assistant to join our Sixth Form team. You will play a key part in providing students with the pastoral support they need to achieve their best potential during their secondary school education and to assist with the management and organisation of the Sixth Form and health and welfare provisions at the school.  

The role suits a candidate who is passionate about working with young people. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Empathy with young students;
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure;
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to be flexible;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with students, parents and staff across the school;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Docs. 


The post is for 37 hours per week, term-time + 5 other days. Starting salary at Grade 7 (Points 13 to 17) with actual salary of £19,886. - £21,525, based on term-time only plus 5 days.
