Job overview
We are looking for a hardworking and dynamic Sixth Form Student Welfare and Attendance Officer to support the Sixth Form Management team, offering pastoral care to students and contributing to raising attainment through a robust but caring support system. You will also manage the annual work experience process for our students and provide a full administrative service to the Post 16 Lead.
Ideally the successful candidate will have an understanding of school policies and procedures, and be proficient in the use of a range of ICT systems, including SIMS, but full trianing will be given.
You should be a strong team player, looking forward to joining our school at an important time in its development.

- High Quality ICT, organisational and administrative skills, with strong attentional details
- The ability to quickly gain and maintain credibility and rapport with managers and staff across the Academy
- Good telephone manner and presentation of professional image
- Good interpersonal skills, with a warm, efficient and hospitable manner to all and excellent listening and communication skills, offering sensitivity in complex situations
Term Time Only ( 39 weeks per year)
40 hours per week
