We are seeking an enthusiastic and well-qualified Specific Learning Needs Teaching Assistant to join the SLN Department from September 2017 for one year in the first instance. Applications for part time hours will be considered.

The role is to support teaching, learning and pastoral needs both in and out of the classroom for students with specific learning needs and disabilities, meeting the educational and physical needs of students with a range of specific learning needs and disabilities. This will include delivering and monitoring a programme of work to SLN groups/individuals through in-class and withdrawal support at the school’s Junior School and Senior School. The role may also involve working with students in other age groups at Rose Court, our Pre-Prep and Nursery site.

Hours of work: 34 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only, excluding five 30 minute lunch breaks (unpaid). Additionally the post holders will be contracted to work 10 additional days per annum outside term time to be agreed with their manager and in proportion to the final agreed working hours.
