Job overview

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an ambitious, creative and ideas driven social media assistant to work in our busy media and marketing department. We have vibrant, popular platforms and followers who are hungry for daily, compelling content. With a year’s experience in a similar environment, you will help to manage 30 social media platforms and websites. You will know how to take the photos and make the videos that will make us stand out and love the variety the role offers you every week as you take your career to the next level.

You will have the ability to identify lots of ideas for content and swiftly write excellent, snappy copy. Together with a strong sense of priorities, calm under pressure, you will understand writing for different platforms and audiences, and have the ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues across the organisation.

You work quickly, with great time management skills, and are able to undertake tasks on your own initiative. You are motivated by growing followers and using analytics to improve what you do. In this role, we are also looking to train up someone to help with designing flyers and posters to increase our in house capacity, something you will relish the chance to be a part of.
