There are approximately 950 students on roll, which includes the Sixth Form. A new building programme, just completed, comprises a brand new Sixth Form Centre, sports facilities including a gym and a new restaurant and coffee shop for both students and staff.
We are seeking to appoint a Teacher of Sociology and Health and Social Care who demonstrates passion for their subject, as well as a commitment to improving student outcomes. You must be able to teach Sociology in KS4 and KS5 and BTEC Health and Social Care Level 2 and Level 3. There is also the possibility that you may be asked to teach a little English.
Committed to raising attainment, you will have the ability to motivate students and help develop engaging and inspiring curriculum in Sociology across all Key Stages. We pride ourselves on our commitment to ensuring pupils achieve their full potential and push themselves beyond their comfort zones.
The well-established and successful Health and Social Care department offers BTEC Level 1/Level 2 First Extended Certificate in Health and Social Care, BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate in Health and Social Care, and BTEC Level 3 National Foundation Diploma in Health and Social Care.
