Smart Teachers is recruiting for a Sociology Teacher to join an Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ school in the heart of Hammersmith and Fulham, South West London. The Sociology Teacher position is available to start from September 2019. The successful candidate will ideally have experience or be able to teach up to A Level, NTQ’s welcome to apply. This position is part-time, if Sociology Teacher is seeking a full time role, the school can incorporate KS3 Religious Studies to build a full timetable.

In order to be considered for this role, the Sociology Teacher will need to meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor of Education / PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree

• Must have experience, or be able to teach A-Level (AQA) 

• Proven experience teaching the UK curriculum preferred not essential 

• NQTs and/or OS-trained teachers welcome to apply

• Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)

• Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
