Northern Education Trust (NET) is a charitable education Trust with an improving track record for school improvement. The Trust sponsors 20 academies; 10 secondary and 10 primaries across the North of England in ten Local Authority regions.
NET relentlessly focuses on standards because we know outcomes are paramount. Our decision making is driven entirely by what is best for children. A large number of new systems and procedures continue to be implemented and are already having a significant impact on the life chances of children across the Trust and this has been recognised in recent Ofsted inspections.
We are seeking an experienced candidate for the post of Software & Web Developer to be responsible for the development and maintenance of the Trust’s web and software platforms.
The ideal candidate will be confident in software and web development including MySQL, Wordpress or similar CMS, PHP, JavaScript and HTML. You will work closely with the Director of ICT in planning, implementing and delivering a cohesive digital strategy that supports the Trust’s ‘Northern’ school improvement model and is outcomes focused.
Northern Education Trust is committed to safer recruitment practice and pre-employment checks will be undertaken before any appointment is confirmed. This post is subject to an enhanced disclosure and barring service check. We expect all adults who work for the Trust to share our commitment to safeguarding and the health and wellbeing of our students.
