Spanish Language Assistant

Part time, term time only (14 hours per week)

Fixed term – 1 year

We are seeking an inspirational, native-level speaker of Spanish to join our experienced Modern Languages team at Truro School.

Working in a professional, welcoming and dynamic environment, you will help ensure each child is nurtured and encouraged to reach their full potential in languages. The successful candidate will be required to engage, support and stretch pupils in terms of their language skills and cultural awareness. In particular, they will work to develop pupils’ confidence and fluency in preparation for the oral part of public examinations (IGCSE and A Level). In addition to this, you will be asked help the department with administrative tasks and run grammar clinics in a 1-2-1 setting or in small groups to consolidate pupils’ learning.
