We are looking for a lively and dynamic Spanish Language Assistant to inspire the students and to contribute fully to the flourishing Modern Languages Department. The Spanish Assistant will primarily be involved in helping students aged 11 – 18 with their spoken Spanish. The successful applicant will be expected to contribute to the co-curricular life of the school.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Native-level Spanish speaker
• A sound knowledge of the grammar and structure of Spanish
• A degree in a language related discipline or equivalent
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of the UK examination system (GCSE/IGCSE, AS and A2) is desirable, but not essential.
Your basic pay will be between £918 - £1,247 per month for 10 months, plus holiday pay which is worked out accordingly to your hourly rate depending on age. Your average hourly pay is based will be £6.56 per hour (NMW 18-20yrs), £8.36 (NMW 21 – 22yrs) or £8.91 per hour (NLW 25yrs +above April 2017) from September 2021 to July 2022 inclusive.
