Job overview

We seek an experienced and flexible individual to join our Modern Foreign Languages department teaching Spanish, whilst a current colleague is on maternity leave. An ability to also teach French at KS3 would be a distinct advantage.  

Starting in the Summer Term, this role will involve teaching across all age groups from 11-18 including GCSE and A Level classes. A willingness to be involved in the wider life of a busy School is essential.

Wellington School is a Church of England denominational, co-educational, day and boarding school in Somerset. As of the most recent inspection, there were 900 pupils on the school roll. The school’s motto is the opening of Psalm 127; ‘If God Be Not With Us, Our Labour is in Vain’. The Senior School teaches pupils between the ages of 11-18. The school also offers preparatory facilities from the ages of 3 onwards. Founded in 1837 as a boys school, Wellington has been fully independent and co-educational since 1978. The 35 acre site is a combination of traditional and more recent architecture. The school operates in both a boarding and day capacity.
