Applications are invited for a Special Education Needs Coordinator in the Secondary Section.

BISJ Secondary seeks to appoint a suitably well-qualified, experienced SENCo. The successful candidate will be passionate about and have a track record of implementing, evidence-based practices and developing the skills of learners with mild learning difficulties.

The role centres on coordinating the work of a small, dedicated group of Learning Support Teachers and TAs and liaising with the wider Student Support Team, Teachers, parents and external services.

An openness to Learning to Learn principles is essential as is a willingness to contribute to the wider life and growth of a busy, happy and forward-looking school.

As a Community School, we can only accept applications from citizens of the UK, Europe, US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. We will not be able to obtain visas for other nationalities.

We also will not be able to support applicants with a partner as we have no other teaching posts required for next year.
