We are looking to appoint an experienced SENCo to join our team.  Are you looking for an exciting, new challenge? Are you passionate about transforming the lives of our young people?  If so, we have the job for you!  

We are committed on our journey to providing an outstanding education for our students and are looking to appoint an inspirational SENCo, dedicated to making a difference in our exciting and forward thinking Academy.  We are looking for an enthusiastic SENCo who has a real passion for education, who understands how to create an inspiring learning environment and provide rich, creative and stimulating opportunities for our students.  

Salary £45,023 - £49,311 depending upon experience (An increased salary is available for a highly experienced candidate up to £51,455).  An excellent knowledge of Access Management would be highly desirable.  As a role model for the Academy community, you will raise levels of student's achievements and help to foster a positive learning environment. 

We will look to you to create a commitment to learning, which enthuses students and gives them the motivation to do well. In return, you will benefit from great support from the Academy's further training and professional development opportunities in developing your wider skills and interests to benefit our students.  

The SENco will provide teaching support to individuals and small groups; identify and support students with additional learning needs (including those with disabilities and the most able) and, working with other professionals, offer advice and guidance to teachers and parents about effective learning strategies for these students.  

Suitable candidates will be forward-thinking, resourceful experts in SEN theory and provision. We welcome applicants from experienced and knowledgeable leaders with the appropriate SENCo qualification already in place and those wishing to aspire to Senior Leadership. Or a highly experienced candidate who will sit on the Senior Team as an Assistant Principal with an associated salary.
