Ninestiles, An Academy is seeking to appoint an experienced SENCo who is committed to inclusion and has the desire to maintain the highest standards of provision for SEND pupils. You will be supporting pupils with their academic, personal and social development. The role is demanding and challenging but very rewarding.

The successful applicant will take responsibility for SEND learning throughout the school. You will be able to effectively lead and manage the SEND team which includes a Cognition and Learning Resource Base and you will work closely with parents to ensure they are kept involved and informed of their child’s progress. 

We are looking for:

  • A fully qualified teacher with experience of acting as SENCo or holds the National Award for SENCo
  • Wide experience of working with pupils with a range of special educational needs
  • Excellent understanding of the SEND Code of Practice

All schools work in partnership with the Ninestiles Teaching School to support staff development, which further extends the scope of opportunities for career advancement in working with other schools.
