Special Educational Needs Support Worker

The Gower School is looking to recruit a Special Educational Needs support worker at the primary school with a Level 3 or 4 qualification.  The position would involve working with a child on a 1 to 1 basis as well as some general classroom support. We are looking for someone with the passion and commitment to drive the child’s progress and make a real difference to their education. 

The ideal candidate will demonstrate: 

Experience of working in a Primary setting

• Previous experience of working with children with SEN
• Understanding of how best to support a child with SEN
• A good level of literacy and numeracy skills
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills and good general communication skills to liaise with staff members, parents and outside agencies.
