Job overview

Vision for Education are recruiting on behalf of a special school in Leeds that are needing a class teacher due to an increase in pupil numbers for September meaning that school now need to open a new class. This is a full time position and requires an experienced teacher that has taught pupils with PMLD and and complex needs.  This role will be a 12 week temporary to permanent contract which means that for the first 12 weeks you will be on a contract through Vision for Education and then from week 13 you will be employed directly by school.

What will the successful candidate need?

  • Must hold QTS.  
  • A passion for working with pupils that have PMLD and complex needs.
  • Available for work from September.
  • Hold an Enhanced Child workforce DBS which must be on the update service, or be willing to undergo one.
