They will offer reading and scribing support to assist with her dyslexia and will be generally able to assist in her day to day academic needs. The child is hard working and very good natured; the adult who works alongside her will help develop her independence and work with her on specially designed programmes.
The role will require a reasonable standard of literacy and numeracy, and the successful applicant will need to be adaptable and supportive.
The role requires a team-focussed approach by the job holder with an emphasis on building, developing and maintaining effective and positive working relationships with children and teachers at Dunhurst school.
