Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are to hold QTS (essential). 

Immediate start 

Smart Teachers are recruiting for a Special Needs Teacher to work within a Special Educational Needs School in the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham. The successful Special Needs Teacher will need to be comfortable working within a special needs environment, with children across a primary and secondary setting. Students have profound and multiple learning difficulties.

Requirements 

To be considered for the Special Needs Teacher position, you will: 

• Have experience working with children or adults with special needs 

• NQTs and/or OS-trained teachers are welcome to apply

• Have strong communication, literacy, and numeracy skills

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status 

• Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)

• Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
