Are you a current or aspiring Special Needs Teaching Assistant looking for a new challenge in an SEN environment?

We are committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults. We are currently recruiting for Special Needs Teaching Assistants on behalf of a Special School in North Bradford.


The ideal Special Needs Teaching Assistant will be responsible for providing 1:1 or 2:1 support to children with Autism, Learning Disabilities and Communication Barriers within a Special School environment. Depending on the needs of each pupil, some will require additional support with personal care. The pupils are aged between 4 and 19 and all have their own education, health, and care plan to support their personal development and lessons are delivered with the needs of every pupil in mind.


In order to be successful for this Special Needs Teaching Assistant position you must:


Be available Monday to Friday 8:30am – 15:30pm

Have or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the online update service

Have recent relevant experience of at least six months working with children, young people or adults with Learning Difficulties and/or Autism
