The Link School is a special academy situated in the London Borough of Sutton providing education for 150 pupils aged 4-19 with speech, language and communication difficulties.

About the Role

•          Working with children with special needs, particularly those with Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC)

•          As a special support assistant attached to the school you may be required to work alongside particular tutor groups and support the young people across all curriculum areas.  Support assistants with a particular skill in a subject specific area may also be asked to be attached to a subject department and support the teaching of a particular subject across the school.

•          In addition to the role of Special Support Assistant, you will also be responsible for supporting aspects of teaching and learning in school with appropriate intervention work.
