Our main building, Thomas Hall, was built in the 1600s, with established woodland surrounding the main campus area. The building was part of Exeter University’s Duryard Halls of Residence for nearly 100 years before becoming a school.

The ideal candidate will be someone who is passionate about learning to the highest standard, committed to maintaining a healthy, comfortable environment, and who has a sharp eye for detail, to build on the school’s successes and contribute to our continuing development.

What will you do?

  • To work under the guidance of the class teacher in the planning and implementation of work programmes with individuals or groups of pupils with special needs
  • To provide general support to the class teacher in the management and organisation of pupil(s) with special needs in the classroom.
  • To assist the teacher in creating and maintaining a purposeful, orderly and supportive learning environment.
  • To promote the inclusion of all pupils, ensuring they have equal opportunities to learn and develop.
  • To be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school
