Specialist Assessor For Examinations Access Arrangements

Required for as soon as possible: A teacher with the specialist assessor qualification able to coordinate the Examinations Access Arrangement processes in school.
We are looking for a qualified teacher with the Level 7 Specialist Assessor qualification to be able to assess and process applications for Examination Access Arrangements. This teacher will work closely with our Foundation Learning Faculty to identify and assess students who may require additional Examination Access Arrangements. The Examinations Access Assessment teacher will then monitor and review the effectiveness of those access strategies, working closely with the examinations team to ensure that records for students with Examination Access Arrangements are up to date and accurate and that the applications for the Examination Access Arrangements are fully processed.
The Examinations Access Arrangement teacher will also have a part time teaching timetable, working closely with their Head of Department to provide outstanding teaching to students at Valley Park School, in their specialist subject area.
Applicants for this position must already have the Level 7 Specialist Assessor qualification and be familiar and confident with current JCQ Examination Access Arrangement systems and processes.
