Specialist English Teacher (Upper KS2)

As a key player in our dynamic Upper KS2 team, you will be an inspiring, forward-thinking and committed professional who is strongly motivated to play an active part in the life of the school. As part of our focus on raising standards and embedding excellence, we are excited to be looking to appoint an outstanding upper KS2 English specialist. Experience of teaching English in Years 6, 7 and 8 would be an asset. Our boys and girls gain places and scholarships at some of the most prestigious day and boarding schools in the country and, as such, experience of preparing pupils for 11+ examinations is essential and 13+ desirable.
This is an exciting opportunity to take on an ambitious role aimed at making a real impact on the outcomes for our pupils.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary and will join a highly supportive and friendly working community where collaboration across all parts of the school is the norm. We are unashamedly proud of the fact that our staff look forward to coming to school as much as our children.
Completed application forms should be emailed to Miss Sarah Pitt, HR Department – sarah@gardenhouseschool.co.uk and include a personal statement explaining your reasons for applying for the post and outlining your experience and suitability for the role.
