The role

We are seeking to recruit an outstanding and ambitious Specialist Key Stage 3 (KS3) Teacher for English with an ability and willingness to inspire others. You will have a strong commitment to high standards of teaching and the wellbeing and pastoral care of the children. An interest in sport or other extra-curricular enrichment programmes would be an advantage. Additionally, we are looking for teachers who wish to fully participate in life in a boarding and day school.

About Brookes Cambridge

We are a pioneering co-educational independent day and boarding school situated five miles west of Bury St Edmunds and 30 minutes drive from Cambridge. Owned by international schooling organisation Brookes Education Group, we are a member of a global family of schools that provide teaching and learning excellence. This commitment has been reflected in a recent ISI inspection report that rated our EYFS “Outstanding” in all areas.

It is an exciting time to join an ambitious school that has seen over £2M invested in its eight acre campus including the building of state-of-the-art boarding and classroom facilities. As of September, we will extend to Year 9, signalling our ambition to become a through school that delivers a high quality educational experience for children aged three to 18 years old. We are providing a clear pathway to success at iGCSE’s and will offer the IB Diploma in 2019.
