Location: Strand on the Green Infant and Nursery and Strand on the Green Junior Schools,
Thames Rd, Chiswick, W4 3NX - London Borough of Hounslow
Headteachers: Vanessa Townsend (Infants) and Ruth Woods (Juniors)
Contract type: 32.5 hours per week – 39 weeks a year – Term time only
Start Date: as soon as possible
End date: 31st August 2026
Swan Centre (ASC Provision)
A Specialist Learning Support Assistant is required to join our team. Candidates should ideally be
qualified to at least NVQ level 3/NNEB or equivalent and be experienced in working with children
with ASC. We are seeking an excellent learning support assistant who has passion and skills in
supporting children with autism and other SEN across the primary age range.
Strand on the Green Infant and Nursery and Strand on the Green Junior School, share a site and
are very successful schools, both committed to inclusion. Strand Schools work together on this
exciting project and are looking for a highly motivated learning assistant who will relish the
opportunities this post offers.
Early Years Teaching Assistant
An Early Years Practitioner is required to join our team to work with Reception/Nursery children.
We are seeking an excellent candidate who has recent experience of working in an Early Years
Classroom, passion and skills to support children in a busy and exciting learning environment.
Candidates should ideally be qualified to at least NVQ level 3/NNEB or equivalent and be
experienced in working with children with varied educational needs.
