We are seeking a dynamic Music Specialist to join our close-knit school community on the Gold Coast.
To be successful in this role, the successful candidate will possess the following desirable characteristics:
• A capacity to engage, inspire and enrich all learners to reach their creative and expressive potential
• Possesses an ability to plan, teach, assess, and evaluate students through listening, performing, and composing activities whilst incorporating Catholic Perspectives
• Demonstrates a strong knowledge and understanding of the AC and how to plan for differentiated learning opportunities
• Is supportive of the Religious Life of the school by engaging students in music and movement to enhance planned liturgical celebrations
• An enthusiasm and willingness to coordinate external instrumental music providers to build and grow the St Vincent’s Band Program
• Be authentic, collaborative and possess a strong work ethic
To be successful in this role, you will be able to meet the following criteria: appropriate qualifications and experience, effective communication skills, an ability to work in partnership with colleagues, students and parents/carers, and an ability to attend to detail in innovative and creative practices.

- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education;
- hold current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers; and
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
