Do you have experience of working towards and achieving nationally recognised accreditation for best autism practice?

We are looking for a specialist teacher to join our fantastic team. You will work across the school, providing advice, support and direct intervention on the delivery of best possible autism-specific approaches.

At Watergate we believe in creating an aspirational, exciting, innovative and fun learning community, so our children can become “the best possible me”. We recognise the importance of using research based, autism specific tools, to support children with their learning.

Multi-disciplinary working and close family liaison are central to our ‘team around the child’ approach. We are looking for an exceptional ASD practitioner, who is able to lead others to establish and/or advance their ‘best autism practice’ toolkits. You will also work in class, supporting teams to secure outstanding outcomes for our pupils.

We offer significant professional development opportunities, wherever you are on your career path. Equally we would expect the appointed candidate to deliver professional development opportunities to colleagues and workshops for families

We welcome applications from teachers with enthusiasm, commitment and much experience of working with children with autism and SEND.
