Hammersmith & Fulham INSPIRE is looking to recruit Specialist Teachers to join INSPIRE, our successful and highly regarded Specialist SEND Outreach Service.
Are you passionate about Teaching & Learning and developing children and young people’s communication skills? Does your experience show your understanding of children & young people with speech, language and/or social communication needs (C&I) and how their difficulties impact their achievements, interactions and relationships with others?
We are currently seeking experienced teachers who will thrive working as part of our team of professionals from Education and Health working together to support children and families with speech, language and/or social communication needs (C&I) within the INSPIRE Specialist SEND Outreach Service. INSPIRE works as a partnership with settings/school staff, specialist teachers, educational psychologists, parents/carers and children and young people to maximise communication for learning, socialisation and independence.
We are looking for candidates who have proven experience of working with children & young people with speech, language and social communication needs and / or associated behaviours including Autism and experience of leading and delivering a range of specialist interventions, programmes, strategies and resources.
Appointment to this post will be subject to the outcome of an Enhanced Disclosure obtained through the Disclosure and Barring Service.

Role Responsibilities:
- You will be highly skilled with exceptional communication skills who can demonstrate an ability to engage children and young people and build strong working relationships with your team and with other professionals to achieve the best outcomes.
- You will have an excellent knowledge and understanding of education issues and of how to work with a range of settings/schools.
- You must be able to demonstrate capacity for a positive, solution focused approach with clear commitment to enabling children and young people to fully participate in all aspects of a learning experience and be able to work independently, managing a diary and liaising with colleagues and schools/ settings to create positive working relationships.
