1.0 FTE SPECIALIST TEACHER – VISUAL IMPAIRMENT
Permanent - to start 1st January 2018 or earlier
Main/Upper Pay Scale plus SEN 2 Allowance
Base and service delivery in Tunbridge Wells

  • Do you want to be a part of a successful countywide team for sensory impairment? 

The Sensory Service welcomes applications from Teachers with a  Mandatory Qualification for Visual Impairment to deliver peripatetic  services in homes, preschool settings and schools.  Teachers with  extensive experience of teaching visually impaired children but without  the Mandatory Qualification will be considered and training will be  provided.

The Sensory Service is county wide service and is part  of Valence School.  It is committed to providing high quality Teaching  and Learning support for children and young people with sensory  impairment across Kent.  The Sensory Service works with children from  birth or diagnosis in the home, preschool settings, mainstream  schools/academies and special schools.
