Aim of post
To teach mathematics across key stages 2 ,3 and 4
To implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for Mathematics
To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students
To be the mathematics coordinator for Ashcroft School and Extended services
To support and advise others who teach mathematics
About you
We’re looking for a Specialist Teacher of Maths to deliver and be responsible for Maths across our Ashcroft Services.
We’re looking for a motivated leader who has;
Significant experience of teaching Maths
Experience of leading others in an educational environment
Significant experience of teaching within a mainstream setting along with expert knowledge and experience of teaching learners with social emotional and mental health needs.
A proven track record of excellent classroom management with a strong commitment to using proactive and therapeutic approaches to support students with their social and emotional growth
skills.

Ashcroft is an independent day school and college is based in Stockport, Cheshire and in East Manchester. It’s one of the specialist education services provided by the charity the Together Trust. We cater for children and young people aged 8 to 19 years who have struggled to cope in other settings because of their individual barriers to learning. At Ashcroft we pride ourselves in working with each student offering a bespoke education package that really does meet their needs. We cater for pupils with complex emotional needs including ADHD and brain injuries.
