Job overview
The Governors seek to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Specialist Teaching and Learning Assistant to supervise and support students in the Focus Room, with the support of senior staff. The post will require the successful candidates to implement agreed work programmes both within and out of the classroom, in accordance with Inclusion Plans, enabling students to access learning activities and structured programmes, overcoming barriers to learning helping to maintain the routines and expectations in the area. This role will also involve some supervisory responsibilities and maintenance of behaviour records, reporting to senior staff as necessary.
The successful candidate will have GCSE English and Maths at C grade or above or equivalent as a minimum.
