Specialist Teaching Assistant (Medical /   Safeguarding) (H4)

32.5 hours per week,   term time only 

Salary   £15,310-£16,900

We are seeking a Specialist Teaching Assistant to   work with our Head of Inclusion and our qualified nurse to improve the   educational outcomes of our most vulnerable students who have challenging   medical needs, physical, mental or emotional. This will involve a focus on targeted   students who are underachieving with a variety of intervention strategies that   make an impact. 

You will oversee the progress, welfare,   engagement and overall academic and pastoral needs of students of these   pupils. You will help address any academic and pastoral needs of students who   require assistance in overcoming barriers to learning in order to achieve   their full potential. 

You will also be a member of our Innovations and   Inclusion team. For candidates interested in teaching we run a pre-ITT   training delivered as twilights throughout the year.
