Job overview

This is a permanent, full-time post, 36 hours per week, all-year round (with flexibility) -- reduced working weeks or term time only will be considered.

We are seeking a committed and experienced individual to work closely with our Additional Learning Support Coordinator. Joining us, you will support students with dyslexia and other specific learning difficulties (SpLDs) which will also include providing assistance with exam access administration and arrangements.  

Working closely with students to support them in college life, you will help enable them to fully access their courses and develop knowledge, understanding and skills required and be successful in all aspects of their examinations.  

To be successful, you will 

  • hold a Level 5 specialist certificate in teaching and supporting students with SpLDs or equivalent
  • have significant, relevant experience of teaching and supporting students with specific learning difficulties
  • show passion for the learning and development of young people 
  • have the ability to motivate and inspire colleagues.  

£30,066 to £32,555 plus £2,643 London Weighting.  From January 2021, this will be £30,818 to £33,369 plus £2,709 gross per annum.
