Speech and Language Therapist B6 and /or B7

We have some excellent opportunities for Speech and Language Therapists to join our Therapies Team at Beyond Autism. We would welcome applications from therapists who are keen to enhance their careers within a specialist organisation, joining colleagues who empower people with autism to lead fuller lives through positive education experiences.

With opportunities to further your career at a Specialist Band 6 or Highly Specialist Band 7 level across our organisation, you will be joining colleagues who support learners and their families from Early Years up to 25 years of age. You will work within a strong multidisciplinary team alongside colleagues with a teaching and ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis) background, and be supported by a Head of Therapies who is integrated within the Senior Leadership Team.

We are looking to enhance our current Therapies Team, offering flexible working contracts and opportunities to develop your specialist career.

Who we are:

- You will join a strong and vibrant Therapies Team, who are passionate about sharing their experience and knowledge within a range of areas.

- The Therapies Team has capacity for three Speech and Language Therapists and three Occupational Therapists, lead by a Head of Therapies who is integrated within the Senior Leadership Team

- We benefit from working within a forward-thinking multi-disciplinary team, sharing skills and knowledge across ABA, teaching and therapeutic frameworks.

- We enjoy working with an amazing group of children and young people aged 4 – 25 years old, offering functional and motivating therapeutic intervention including but not limited to:

o Attention Autism

o Lego Therapy

o Zones of Regulation

o Fun with Food

o AAC

o Sensory Diet

We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist who is:

- Experienced, fun and motivated.

- Passionate about improving the lives of children and young people with autism and their families.

- Able to bring their own experience and ideas from working in related settings.

- Part of a relevant Clinical Excellence Network.

- Secure in using evidence-based practice to underpin motivating therapy activities.
